Stage 3 at Woolooware Bay Town Centre comprises 238 apartments in 4 separate buildings arranged around an elevated landscaped courtyard. The buildings range from 8 to 15-storeys capturing views across Woolooware Bay towards the city. While the architecture is familial with the other stages, the design allows for a diversity of styles. At street level the consistent edge condition provides multiple building entry points, identifiable commercial/ community facilities and where possible, street accessed apartments which wrap the car park. These lower levels are expressed with a formal two storey colannade, which gives the street level units a strong individual character.
The proposed residential buildings overhead draw their inspiration from their direct waterfront location and feature larger units with sweeping views over the bay towards the CBD. Level 13 features a signature rooftop function facility, with external terraces and a north facing infinity edge swimming pool. The upper levels of Crest are defined by a bronze crown with operable screens, which allows residents control the environment on the external terraces. Materials are selected from a natural palette to add a sense of familiarity and warmth, including sandstone, timber, precast concrete and profiled metal cladding. The various communal and recreational facilities on the site enhance the liveability of the development, and the ground floor commercial spaces and public parks responds to the desired future character for the precinct improving the amenity of the area for residents and the broader community.
