Located in an unbeatable area, facing the skyline of Sydney, the site sits within an area provided with all types of services undergoing transformation.
The project consists of two buildings separated by Elger Street, where the landscape appears to link these two blocks. Comprising of 231 apartments with generous landscaped courtyards through each building, including accessible roofs, the blocks range from 7- 8 storeys with additional bridges and steps to add dynamism to the composition.
Materials and textures are selected to keep the original essence of the area as well as playing with the light and shade of the building. Each building shows its strong personality with different compositions, while maintaining the same language. The concrete off-form with metal reflects the semblance and purity of the original materials. The classic brick with the impressive asymmetric arches leaves a legacy of architecture, intermingling with the concrete to create a contemporary and elegant style.
