Situated in the historic village of Colney Heath and surrounded by expansive countryside views, Smallford Works delivers a vibrant and dynamic neighbourhood that adapts to 21st-Century living demands while retaining, respecting and enhancing its historical context.

This development provides a combined total of one hundred houses and apartments of which forty percent is allocated to meet the affordable housing needs of the Local Council.

Albeit contemporary by nature, inspiration is taken from the immediate rural context, where materials, form and massing provide a familial collection of homes set around a neighbourhood green. Coupled with strategic pedestrian linkages to the surrounding area, Smallford Works affords the residents opportunities for community engagement, recreation and visual connection to the countryside beyond.
